Leaping Lemurs!
Finished this picture earlier in the week. It's for an online show with the theme of Lemurs, which only live on the large island of Madagascar and are critically endangered. This is the ring-tailed lemur, the one most people are familiar with. It's a female & she's looking to see what the rest of her troop are doing. The picture is 12 in. x 16 in. done in pen, brush & ink, acrylic and pencil on Bristol board, a thick paper suitable for many techniques. My sister came up with the title, which is "Eager Lemur".

You amaze me!!!! This is so beautifully done! And the title is just perfect
How lovely!
Thanks for your words yesterday!
I love that picture. How wonderful to be able to draw and paint! There are so many creatures that are in danger of being lost to our world forever. How sad! Pretty soon all we will have left are parking lots, shopping centers(including abandoned ones) cockroaches and ants and....starlings.(just about my least favorite bird)
WOW! That is all I can say... you are amazing!
I like the precision of the lines . In the past in Great Britain were published excellent books of Natural History with drawing/paintings like that . I wonder if you shouldn't offer your competence to a scientist publisher in the US ?
.
Frankly this deserves much.
Encouragemùents Jackie.
