  •         blue sunset tree 1-16-07

Winter skies provide a constant array of greys and blues which are very pleasing. This is a photo of a recent winter afternoon, the locust tree is outside of my windows & provided contrast after a snowy day.

  • If we didn't have to drive in it winter would be a lovely time of year. There is a spring like quality to the light in the photo which makes it anticipatory.

  • How lovely!
    How's your book?

  • The snow looks beautiful but Im glad we dont get much cold weather here--us southerners dont know how to drive in that stuff!!!

RYC--we dont have a fabic store here at all but I'm going to google that name and see how close that fabic store is and maybe go find one this week end !!!

  • I found one about 40 miles from us!! and we are going there this week end to eat Chinese food. Thank you so much for telling me-Maybe I will find a new gnome and name it after you !!

  • What a nice pic. Thanks for the kind words!

  • I am a perfect gentleman, but you can scratch my belly.

  • Whoever thought Winter skies could look so pretty! Love the photo. Have a great weekend!

  • I really like trees in the winter around here for picture taking. Grab better sunsets that way.

ryc: I'm out looking for a cape... LOL Boy I'm exhausted this morning. Moving someone to rehab at 6 p.m. is a crappy time to do it. Way to go military doctors.

  • Somehow that picture matches my feelings...Contemplative.

I've always loved trees ... no matter what state of dress or undress.

  • I went to Joanns Fabric's yesterday and got one gnome!! the one I went to didnt have a lot-I think there were 3 left and the lady said they had sold a lot of them-but now thanks to you I will know to check that place when I go down there !!! I will post his picture so you can see it -Thanks again

  • The changing sky in the winter is a constant source of inspiration . I am never tired to gaze it and I always am amazed .

    In friendship
    Michel
