March ice storm
Cleveland is getting hit by yet another blizzard, so it's a good time to post pics from the ice storm earlier in the month. On March 4th & 5th, we were pelted with ice all day, making it difficult to drive, but turning all of the trees into spun crystal. These were taken from my apartment window on the second day, since it was much too dangerous to go out. In the foreground is the locust tree, whose twisted branches were stunning encased in ice.

Wow, look at that nasty sky! But the ice is beautiful. Nature sure is incredible. What a winter! I like that little birdie in your profile pic on this entry. I assume it's one of yours... it's lovely.
We have the same mess here this morning.
I'm very, very tired of winter weather.
I shall not fuss about fluctuating weather here. Or needed rain.
I want so much to post my own wintery pictures... Alas, with the computer giving me fits, my scanner has decided to join in the fun. As they say around here, "Can't have nuthin'."
I should have caved and stuck with digital.
.......nah......
Your pictures are very lovely, though!
