      A friend recently began a job where he tests the waters of Lake Erie for bacteria levels to make certain it's safe for swimmers. Imagine my surprise when I opened my front door this morning to see a large photo of him on the front page of the Cleveland Plain Dealer in an article about water pollution. What a thrill to see someone I know headlining the local paper. It's kinda big to post, so here's the link-

       The photo is taken from a weird angle, so it has an El Greco effect, but it's still a treat to see him taking up most of the top half of the page and for doing something good too. There's a smaller picture inside of him writing down the  data.  He looks very scientific and I am very pleased on his behalf.
