my favorite poem
I finally downloaded the pics I've taken over the last few months, so I'll be posting some of them here later this week.In the meantime, though you can read an essay I wrote about my favorite poem, Langston Hughes "Dreams" on the literary website Vulpes Libris during their 2nd Annual Poetry Week. Here's the link to my essay http://bit.ly/aP6ai6
A real update from me will be coming within a few days.

I re- commented on Vulpus libris
Hold fast to dreams.
For if dreams die,
Life is a broken-winged bird,
That cannot fly.
Hold fast to dreams.
For if dreams go,
Life is a barren field,
Frozen with snow.
I use this poem to teach the concept of metaphors.
