--I'm getting ready for the first of my autumn craft shows this Saturday. I've never been in this one, a family oriented one called Harvest Fest, before. There's supposed to be food, music, hay rides & an animal show, along with crafters & artists. The weather forecast is for a nice fall day, so I hope there's a big turnout. I'm not sure what to expect, sales wise, but I hope everything goes smoothly.
--Last week I pulled a muscle near my left knee when I was grocery shopping & it was incredibly painful that night(Monday). At some point in the night I remembered I had some pills left from the TMJ I had in the spring, so I took some & they made a big difference. I took them nearly every day last week & by the weekend I was feeling MUCH, MUCH better. It healed much faster than anticipated, which I was glad about.
--Audiobook month lasted all of Sept. on the literary website, Vulpes Libris, but this week we were back to the usual variety of topics. My latest review was on a book about North Korea, called "Nothing to Envy", by journalist Barbara Demick. It was a shocking book in many ways. If you'd like to read my review, here's the link Nothing to Envy
--The trees are starting to change here & I'm hoping to go to one of the metroparks and take photos of the foliage after the craft show. It's been cold and rainy much of the time, but I'm hoping we get a few bright days so I can get some decent pictures.I'll post some here when I do.
