My painting, "Baby's Day Out" now has a new home. It's in the nursery of a cute little baby named Lily who lives in Texas with her parents, a white German Shepherd & 4 cats. Her grandmother bought the large painting of a mother and baby black rhino on the African savannah. It's a cheerful paining in calm colors and I hope that when Lily gets old enough to enjoy art, that she approves. I like the idea of a wildlife mom & baby being a backdrop for a human mom & baby.
My artwork is in many locations here in the USA, as well as Canada, Finland, Switzerland and the UK. Even though health problems prevent me from traveling, I like the thought of my pictures going to all sorts of places which I will never see. It feels hopeful and a little adventurous.

  • Happy Independence Day!

It's Independence Day weekend in the U.S. when we celebrate the signing of the Declaration of Independence in 1776 that made the 13 colonies in America a new country separate from Great Britain. Well, after we won the war with them a few years later. Most people have picnics, family gatherings or outings over the holiday (my family doesn't, but we're unusual).
