It's a beautiful Easter Day in Cleveland, with sunny skies and warm temperatures needing only a sweater, if that. Perfect day for sunrise services and egg hunts.
My sister is a nurse at a hospital and often has to work holidays, so I hope I see her sometime this week to give her the peanut butter and chocolate bunnies I got her. My mom's ulcer has been acting up, so I cancelled plans for making spaghetti for our supper, but I got her a strawberry milkshake when I was out around noon. I also gave her a good amount of the candy she likes. I'm diabetic, so I won't be eating candy like most everyone else. I've found that I don't mind that at all and still enjoy giving others treats.
My guinea pig, Dora has had lots of carrots today in honor of the Easter Bunny.
